Shure

Shure has expanded their offering of Countryman products. Here’s the blurb from their press release:

We have added new polar patterns, colors and connector options to the earset and lavalier products available from Shure. Additionally, we have added the Type 85 Direct Box.

Here are some of the benefits of these great products:

WCE6 and WCE6i Earset Microphones

  • Smallest, lightest, most comfortable microphone of its kind
  • Almost invisible against many skin tones
  • Flexible boom assures a custom fit for every wearer

  • Comes in multiple colors to blend with clothing and skin tones.
  • Smaller than the cable of other lavalier mics – only .1” (2.5mm) diameter

Ducks

This Mallard couple has been showing up every spring for the last couple of years and hanging out in, what I have named, "The Hyatt Wetlands" (a portion of our parking lot where the drain has ceased to work and is in the shadow of our old truck).

The female appears to have an injury to one of her legs, so don’t get too close. I tend to just quack at them a few times as I head into work. Lisa likes to shout: "DUCKY DUCKY DUCKY!"

We’re all special people here at John S. Hyatt’s!
