JSHAA has had very good luck with Robe fixtures lately. We’ve used them to light the interior of the glass tower at Celebration Cinemas South and the new “Tony’s Dance Club” at Cereal City in Battle Creek.

Circuit Lighting was once again hired to provide Robe ColorSpot and ColorWash 1200 AT fixtures for cable TV channel HBO’s most popular football show “Inside the NFL”. The show was recorded at the Ford Museum in Detroit.

Circuit Lighting services many major TV shows and events, and their team of four was led by Mirash Lekaj for this event.

This award-winning and popular cable talk show, which analyzes football teams and games, was staged in the middle of the Museum’s exhibition displays.

The fixtures were dotted around across the floor, on the set and on a ground supported trussing system. Being in a museum environment was very challenging – all the work had to be undertaken with great care and skill, and with the safety of the exhibits in mind at all times.

The Robe’s – 12 Spot and 12 Wash fixtures, the latter with electronic ballast – were chosen because of familiarity with the product, and previous successes using them on major shows and sporting events.

Circuit’s Rich Tilley says “From the hire company angle, our clients love the reliability and quality of Robe, and have responded positively to us adding them to our inventory. We’re now regularly getting Robe luminaires requested over other moving lights.”

Circuit is also using Robe in numerous upcoming events this summer including concerts, sporting events, festivals, tent parties etc, both indoors and outdoors. “The reliability of the fixtures makes them ideal for multi purpose usage.

We like to give our customers first refusal when we sell any rental equipment (which doesn’t happen very often!).

We’re selling two LeMaitre Neutron XS hazers. $500 each. Buy one or both! Each unit comes with a case and a manual remote. This unit can operate with a DMX interface, but we are not offering one with this deal. We can price a new one, if needed. Normal list price for one of these units was $1489.00.

These units continue to operate in our Grand Rapids rental stock until they are sold. We take good care of our equipment, but I would highly reccommend that if you’re interested in them, that you come down to the shop and check them out for yourself!
