Our Elation Lighting rep stopped by the office yesterday with some great new fixtures!
Here’s what we saw:

Platinum Spot 5R
List Price $2,799.95

Lightweight with a great output. About the size & weight of a standard 250 fixture, but with the output of a 575 fixture. Uses a Philips Plasma lamp source. |

I’ve been waiting to see a profile fixture with an LED source in person, and I wasn’t disappointed. This fixture uses 4 – 45w white LED chips as its light source and has color and gobo wheels. The optics are great – nice even field and sharp edges.
It still doesn’t have the output for a large venue (it has an output similar to a 250 fixture), but it would be great for the short throws.

E Spot LED

Similar to the Design Spot LED above, but half the size. Quiet and smooth.
The output is slightly better than a 150 fixture.

At last! The new Ratcheting Focus Tool from StageJunk has arrived!!!
I know, I shouldn’t get so excited, but this is such a — dare I say? — sexy tool!
They’ve been on backorder since last fall, but now they are in our office, ready to be purchased by YOU! OK, at least stop by to check them out…
